We are looking for parents with a migration background who would like to become active in a regional group where parents can: • exchange experiences and information with one another, • support and empower each other, • get involved in parent participation in daycare centers and schools, and thereby improve educational opportunities for children and young people. The Migrant Parents’ Network Schleswig-Holstein (MEN SH) warmly invites you to join us. Attend our meetings for parents, families, and anyone interested, or participate in our online events, for example on educational pathways in German schools. Get to know our network! Learn about what we do and the goals we pursue. We would be delighted if you joined us. What does MEN SH want? We aim to connect parents with an immigration background, as well as parents of children with a migration background, to encourage exchange, networking, and mutual support. We want to strengthen parents in their role as active participants in decision-making processes through information, guidance, and empowerment – for example in schools and daycare centers. Every child should have equal opportunities. Parents should be heard. Community representatives and multipliers receive training and then form the steering group. Interested or have questions?
